NAET FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
NAET FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. How safe is NAET?
NAET is extremely safe and extremely effective. It is a natural, painless, non-invasive method that can be administered to any individual ranging from newborns to the elderly.
2. Are there side effects as found in taking medication?
Some patients experience some cleansing effects as the body detoxifies itself of the allergies. These symptoms may occur during the 25 hour avoidance period after a treatment is rendered. Patients have reported symptoms of fatigue, headache, or rashes. However, these cleansing effects are temporary, and the benefits of eliminating the allergy once and for all more than outweigh any of these temporary occurrences.
3. How long does it take to rid an allergy?
For mild allergies, it may take only one treatment to eliminate an allergy. For more severe allergies, more treatments would be indicated.
4. How long do the effects of the treatments last?
80-90% of NAET patients experience complete relief from their allergies. Most report that they no longer react to previously troublesome foods or environmental substances since being treated. Therefore, if done correctly, the results are considered to be permanent.
5. How are the treatments administered?
The patient must physically contact the allergy producing substance while the practitioner activates certain points down the spine and on the limbs. These points correspond to acupressure meridian points as well as spinal nerve root points which reprogram the body's response to the allergen, allowing the brain to no longer perceive the allergen as a threat.
These treatments are completely safe, non-invasive, and painless.
"I used to feel weak one half hour after eating eggs and shrimp, but since Dr. Yee cleared me of these allergies, I can eat them without anymore weakness. My wife used to suffer from acid reflux when she would eat tomatoes, vinegar, or any other acidic foods. Since being treated for an allergy to her own stomach acids, she no longer suffers from the acid reflux. Thank you Dr. Yee for helping us with our allergies!

8. What is an emotional allergy?
In NAET terms, an allergy is an item which causes in imbalance in the body. Therefore, different emotions can cause imbalances that lead to weakness in the body as well as any other physical substance. In fact, many chronic health conditions may have a strong emotional component that is perpetuating the condition. A trained NAET practitioner can locate these emotional imbalances and correct them in the same manner as treating physical allergens.
9. How long does each treatment take?
Each treatment only takes about 25 minutes, 5 minutes to administer the acupressure points and 20 minutes to hold onto the allergen thereafter to allow the treatment to "set in".
